CNN —Emotions ran high in England over the weekend after it was announced that Bobby Charlton, widely regarded as the country’s greatest soccer player, had died on Saturday at the age of 86.
“A little bit of England has died,” said The Sunday Times of the man who played a starring role in England’s 1966 World Cup win.
